Hello guys! I will let you know sad news. This post is last post of this course. But I will keep posting about digital business. Don't be disappointed!! I choose interesting topic for last blog. In this posting, I would like to talk about Digital World in South Korea. It will be useful information for you guys and enjoy it.

Digital Business in South Korea

I would like to introduce top company in South Korea. The name of company is Kakao corporation. Kakao started business from messenger field like Whatsapp which is already famous in the worldwide. Actually I didn't know Whatsapp until when I came in Finland. Korean don't use Whatsapp because we have Kakao messenger which is called Kakao Talk. As you know South Korea has well-developed internet network and big Android market in smart market.

Kakao Talk has a lot of entertainment. Kakao corporation makes a lot of profits there. We can use almost of them for free. but we have to pay to use something like emoticon and game items.

Kakao corporation is even planning to expand their business to Bank business. Kakao is getting bigger. I think they are already big IT company.

This photo is about emoticon characters of Kakao Talk. They are loved by much everyone. There are off line stores which sell dolls and souvenirs for them.
