This week is Ultra week!!! I am writing blog in starbucks which is located in Saint petersburg. Yess I am in Russia. So I am writing blog by Russia spirit haha.

Ultrahack

Last Monday, a guest speaker Who came from Ultrahack gave us a lecture. In first I would like to introduce about Ultrahack. Ultrahack is a event which many people participate for competition. Ultrahack has been held twice in 2015 and 2016. The winners of the Ultrahack challenges got to pitch their ideas at Slush with the other Slush Hacks challenge winners and on top of that the best Ultrahack teams got prizes and rewards with the overall prize pot reaching over 100k€.

Startup in South Koea

A lot of startup companies is rapidly forming in South Korea for last a few years. I think this situation is influenced by smart devices like iphone and Android. My startup companies have got success and failure and Many people try to challenge into this intensive environment.I also tried to start business with my friends but failed. I think it is both red ocean and blue ocean. There are too much people who work for startup but If you have a good item you will be success. It is very simple but too hard. I would like to talk about my story which I participated a startup competition a few years ago. My item was camera app which use pictures for job resume and ID etc. We thought that it will be comfortable for people who need pictures in a hurry. Our system is that people use their own phone. They take a picture by themselves and be able to edit pictures for purpose, choose place which they want to receive. And they send pictures to us. If we receive their picture, we would print the pictures and deliver to them. We thought it will be successful so we send business plan to investors. But they thought it would be unprofitable business and not attractive for them. Yes that was sad story but good experience for me.
