Social media marketing

Hi guys!! I also have learned digital business this week. what I want to introduce this time is social media marketing.

What is social media marketing??

Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms and websites to promote a product or service. Most of these social media platforms have their own built-in data analytics tools, which enable companies to track the progress, success, and engagement of ad campaigns. Companies address a range stakeholders through social media marketing including current and potential customers, current and potential employees, journalists, bloggers, and the general public. Difference between inbound marketer and outbound marketer

I think psychology is important for social media marketing. So I would like to introduce a interesting model related psychology.

Maslow's Pyramid

This photo is about Hierarchy of needs by Psychologist Abraham Maslow. It is very interesting study. According to Abraham Maslow there are 5 needs people have. People pretend to achieve their needs from Physiological to Self-actualization. First, physiological needs are about biological needs such as breathing, food, water, sex, sleep and so on. If people lack of these they would focus on these needs. Second, safety needs are about a safe area away from threats such as security of body, employment, resources, family and so on. Third, love and belonging needs are about feeling that people need to feel loved such as friendship, family and sexual intimacy. Fourth, Self esteem needs are about that people act from their ego needs such as confidence, achievement, respect of others. Last, Self actualization needs are about fulfillment needs such as morality, creativity, problem solving and so on.
